"We've been dragged to this place... it's a train that goes between worlds. None of them are ours, as far as anyone has been able to tell. We have missions there that we're supposed to complete. There's bunks n sleeper cars for us to stay in, a kitchen, a training gym, a greenhouse... there's a lot on this train. The people are... largely decent."

He gives her a chance to absorb that for a moment before continuing. "As to how we were dragged here, or why us, I don't know."
