"I had never heard the word 'train' at all before I came here," Merwen says. "There is nothing like this on Shora. Perhaps on Valedon, but I have seen only the smallest part of Valedon, and there was nothing like this there. It is something like the ferry between the two worlds, but this is larger than that, meant for more people, and for longer journeys."

She's seen that much already, at least.
