"Your world sounds a lot like Wonderland," Alice replies, almost instinctively. Just because it does. Because it's not often that she hears of places like these, not even on this train that grabs people from all sorts of worlds.

Most worlds sound so awfully mundane. But everything about Merwen's world doesn't sound like it. The sea glowing with an orange seafire - just by hearing those words, Alice wants to see it. A world beautiful and new, and everything but normal.
