Soldat perks up, and sings the second line after her, "Maybe that makes me a fool." Their own voice is pleasant, practiced, but in an amateur "sings along with the radio all the damn time" kind of way. "I know that song."

Frankly, Soldat has had weirder friends, too. The one with the owl head, the floating purple cat person, the one who kind of looked like a hairless horse... spirits in Beacon are weird. They look... kind of bashful, a little bit, at the description of Prisoner's insistence in meeting his "new friend", but pleased. "Good. I get the feeling the guy needs more friends. We gotta teach you more things to do for fun than fighting, buddy."
