He chuckled lightly. "I understand that impulse. I'm sure if I believed in divine retribution, making me keep an eye on a bunch of kids would be punishment enough. But I never did try to look at the sun myself, after I read what it could do."

Senku hummed thoughtfully. "Probably. Sitting around doing nothing is the kind of thing he'd like to get into, in a relaxing setting. Not all the time, no matter how much he complains. The train was kind of stifling that way, they were much more used to being outside all the time.
