Since taking on the colors of Red Team, Zag had been de facto assisting the Red Team with their chores - namely, cooking. He'd been banned quite quickly from doing anything to actually cook meals, after several members had witnessed him eating an avocado whole, peel and all.
... which he may or may not be doing at that precise moment as he helped the Little One by occasionally dumping out her garbage into the appropriate places. (Or at least what other members of the Red Team had told him were the appropriate places.)
Zagreus set down his partially eaten avocado to collect the bowl of stones, grinning as he picked one out of the bowl and tossed it into the air, catching it on its descending journey before placing it back with its circular brethren. "Oh sure, honey's delicious, but I'm pretty sure you need more variety than that. At least, that's what the shades always told me. Meats and vegetables and fruits, things like that?" He tosses the pits into the compost, sweeping the peels into the same bowl and tossing them out also, returning to his partially eaten avocado. After a moment of contemplating it, he asks his kitchen companion, "Is this a vegetable, then? Supposedly most vegetables are green."
