"They're monsters, attracted to people. If they eat part of someone that person either gets Apathy Syndrome where they won't sleep or eat or drink and will just sit there staring at nothing or they'll become Shadows themselves. They only come out during the Dark Hour, which is a time where things turn green and bloody and creepy... most people aren't able to be awake during it. People with Persona or the potential to have them are." He takes a deep breath and looks up at Rich.
