One moment, he'd felt the strange sort of mist that indicated Questing Country was separating from Liminal Space again. He'd done his best to help Leah and the Conductors - Cantors? Whatever they were calling themselves now - and their allies to liberate Arrata Skyhook and to loop them into the larger Questing Country community.
Instead of whatever weird decoration the winning Arcana had decided to give Liminal Space however, he instead finds himself on a platform surrounded by mist - and a lot of people who are definitely not fellow Travelers. They all know each other now, at least by sight if not actually friends. He frowns and looks up at Bob who's perched on his shoulder, the large raven squawking and Casper sighing. "Yeah, I know. Hang on, let me just -"
He holds a hand out, clearly trying to do... something. But whatever he's doing, it's not working. He flicks his wrist a few more times... nope. Frustrated he finally glances at the outfit he's wearing. ... Ugh. Purple is not his color, and the leg band on Bob doesn't really work, either. He focuses for a moment, but whatever he's trying to do doesn't work this time, either. He sticks his hand through the air forcefully, and finally a small tear opens up. He sighs in relief and rummages around, grabbing a necklace of small white objects and fastening it around his neck. He feels around in the weird tear for a few moments before - "Damn it, they took my books. Also my phone... eh. No one I could call, anyway." He shakes his head and grabs a baseball bat - clear, with a blue core - and taps it against his leg. The bat vanishes, and the tear in the air closes up.
"Now... to figure out where we are..."
[Wandering]
Casper, of course, reads the messages and the pamphlets as soon as he spots them. Armed with a little bit more knowledge he starts picking his way through the cars, marveling a little bit at the variety. It almost reminds him of Liminal, and he can't help but feel a little homesick. Still, at least exploring is keeping him busy enough to be distracted.
He first makes his way into the kitchen car, because of course he does. There's a lot of good smells coming from there and he wants to see what's up. It's a lot more industrial-looking than the kitchen he made in his hall, but that's not unexpected. He does his best to not interrupt anyone, but it's not uncommon for new passengers to check in there curiously.
The garden catches his attention, Bob lifting off of his shoulder and taking a wide arc around the space. Casper sighs and sits down, stretching a bit, holding out his hands. A blue hoodie appears in his hands and he holds it close to himself, taking a deep breath. It smells like Laughs... he misses his boyfriend terribly right now.
There were other cars he was intending to go to, but the library is where he stops. He immediately grabs a book and starts flipping through it. A lot of it is confusing, but he's going to end up getting through it anyway. He's always excited for books.
[Roommates] [Closed to 3:D]
Oh, boy. He's slept around other people before, but in the past few years he really hasn't done so around people he doesn't know or trust intimately. He mutters out the rooms as he passes them, looking for his own. "B... C... D, there we are." Bob pecks at his partner's head from his shoulder perch.
He touches the ticket to the panel and opens the door, looking around. "Hello? Anyone home? New roommate here, hi."
[Medic?] [Closed to Raven and Ichigo]
Casper needs to check in with a medic. While he can heal himself just fine in most cases, he can't use liminal material here and he knows his own healing spells either are slight or cost... quite a lot to use. And in any case, neither Thorne nor Alcuin are here, the two who probably would understand his physical weirdness the most. A baseline reading probably isn't a bad thing to have...
... And also probably having the medical staff aware of the prosthetic leg situation is not a bad idea. He's not going to tell them about the 'soul in the raven' thing if it doesn't come up, but it's a possibility. He heads into medical and looks around for whoever's on duty.
[Wildcard]
Casper is new, and more than that Casper is curious. He pokes into anywhere that isn't locked and pretty obviously has just gotten here.
