V had been reading in the garden car and had brought Jackie the kitten to romp about and stretch his legs. It wasn't long after Casper sat down and pressed his face to the hoodie that Jackie clumsily bounded over and meowed with all of his baby kitten might. If Casper didn't reach down to at least let the kitten sniff his hand he would stretch out little kitten paws up his leg to ask for attention.

It's not long before V trails up after the kitten, book tucked under one arm, an apology on his face.

"Sorry 'bout that, Jackie's just figured out he gets more attention if he asks fer it."

V's not wearing his hoodie so the metal work that signifies his mantis blades is fully visible, from just below the elbow and on down to his hands. The Johnny + V tattoo is visible inside of his upper right forearm. The jack at the heel of his left hand, the sensor that covers the palm of his right hand, the jack and chip slots behind his right ear, the clearly synthetic eyes - he's made no attempt to hide any of this.
