Cherry knew somewhere in the back of her mind she should really probably be bowing and showing respect in some capacity - she knew that that's how you were supposed to treat the Garlean royalty if you were Garlean, but she didn't actually know the procedure for such a thing so she decided to ignore the whole princess thing for now.
