Honestly, sometimes not getting involved is the best route. But when it's a kid, it gets different.

"Oh, right. Centaurians are born with fins. They're just supposed to make us pretty to the opposite gender? Mine was cut off an' replaced as soon as I got big enough. Originally they were made just for us. The fin they gave me first was a lot smaller? Just so I could do stuff like wear Kree helmets or whatever they wanted to put me in.

"But my dumb ass thought, 'You know, when I get an upgrade I'm gonna get a fin that's tall as a natural one'. I have banged my head at least fifty times 'cause I forget."
