"So you were here before?" Noctis wondered aloud. "For a couple of weeks, and then ... you were back home again?"

And then kidnapped all over again. Well, that was ... not great. But better than being stuck wherever this was indefinitely with no way back. Noctis had a lot of things he was in the middle of, including - but really not limited to - trying to stop a war from destroying his world.

Plus, he inadvertently abandoned Luna and flaked out on the whole meeting Leviathan thing, which was definitely definitely bad.

"I guess," Noctis sounded a little skeptical about the last part, "except I can't really take a break to go on an adventure right now. There's a lot of people who're counting on me to, well, not be here."
