Nova casually hops immediately onto Cherry's shoulder and begins preening her, gently, with affection having missed the youth just as much as her master evidenced by her wagging tail feathers.

Attention briefly going back to Cherry, she nods and then tilts her head for a moment. "There's only one I've heard that's come back, and it's another youth by the name of Peter Parker. All others I have not seen return, besides you that is."

Once she stands up, she takes Q'uila's hand with a less nervous smile with a soft shake of her head. "Worry not, I would have reacted in a similar fashion were someone I did not know do that to her or any others I call family here.
