"Yeah, I think that's what I'm gonna do." Peter nods as that does sound like the simple solution. Go out for a moment and then comeback into the train and hopefully be asleep by the time of void entry.

"Oh..." He's not sure what to tell her. Is she hoping to see a familiar face or would she rather not? He's seen several in his time one the train and briefly he wonders what that says about the multiverse but pushes it out of his thoughts.
