Maybe nobody had said they did, but looking almost exactly like Soldat-- and, by obvious association, like the other guy-- somebody probably did and just didn't make it obvious. They really hope they can catch Steve and warn him before the poor guy meets him and thinks he really is a younger Bucky.

"When was the last month you remember being here?" they ask. "Maybe I can fill in some of what you missed, at least. Or at least tell you how long you've been gone."
