He stops walking for a moment, though Inigo doesn't let go of Taiki at all, still holding him even as they're not standing still on the spot. If anything, he squeezes the other a little in his hold.

"Taiki, listen to me.. You're never in the way. Alright? There's absolutely nothing in any place that could make me feel like you're in my way." Especially when Taiki is so incredibly high up on the list of people important to Inigo. Someone he can't let get hurt, no matter what. Someone he can't let be sad all by himself. "I don't want you to be alone. I want you near me."

That last part is true. There's something selfish to the whole thing as well, after all, since Inigo also greatly enjoys having the other near him at any time.

"As long as I'm in this place, you never have to be alone when you don't want to. I promise you that, I swear it on Naga's name."
