While Taiki held the sword in place, Lea scooped the dirt back in around it, just packing it lightly at first so it would be easier to dig back out if they needed to go a little deeper. That proved unnecessary though, as the sword stood steady and straight when Taiki let go of it. He gave a satisfied nod and packed the dirt in more firmly just to be safe.
"That should do it for the sword," he said. "Before we look for the seeds though, I just though you should know that, well... its OK to not be OK. And if you need to cry or yell or hit something or just have somebody to sit quietly with or whatever? You can come to me. Anytime. Got it memorized?" He turned to face Taiki, still on his knees, and pulled his friend into a gentle hug.
