Crowley has grown accustomed to telling Alice's feelings apart from his own. At first, her feelings scared him, because he didn't understand where they came from. Then, they became annoying, interrupting his thoughts seemingly at the most inopportune moments. Now, they come and go in the back of his mind, at least normally they do. The panic that sets into him in the moment is enough to raise him on high alert, and the demon drops everything to find her, not stopping until he sees her dashing through the train.
