Peter had once again considered skipping platform greetings but not in favor of sleeping but because there's a hideous bruise right by his left eye and he's really not in the mood to explain how that happened. However, he still ends up on the platform because he's not going to miss his chance to maybe, possibly see Uncle Ben again.

No Uncle Ben. However, there are a lot of confused people so Peter approaches the nearest person-A girl with blonde hair.

"Uh, Hi. This is probably a bit of a shock uh?" Why does he continue to think he should be on the welcome committee. That sounded suspicious even to him. "Uh... what I mean is um... you okay?"
