When he was particularly bored and feeling a little stir crazy, Danny often came back to the standard car. Watching the void wasn't quite the same as exploring the zone. But it was familiar in a weird way, that much of the train wasn't.
This time, after he decides that he should probably stop looking out at the void before he gets another migraine, he happens to notice the little plastic ghost sitting by the guy nearby.
And he can't help but laugh a little at the irony.
"Sorry," he apologizes. "I kind of have a thing with ghosts."
