Essentially, you have to garner your own insights and find your own ways. For this reason, many of the best books on magic are full of puzzles, paradoxes, or just don't convey their information in a conventional way. For example, the best book I know of on Horizon, which is one of the fundamental forces of my universe, only has blackness and emptiness on its pages and you have to figure out how to read that. Horizon is the force of the distant, the unknowable, the gone, you see. It's tied to death and many other mysteries."
