Devero blinks, taken aback by something Yondu's said, and then strikes himself in the forehead with the palm of his hand. "SCA signals! Why didn't I think of that?!"

But he doesn't appear to be upset or embarrassed that it hadn't occurred to him. Devero doesn't think too much of himself as an electronics guy-- he's just an amateur, a student, a hobbyist. He's genuinely grateful when someone points out something he's missed. In fact, it makes him particularly eager to accept Yondu's help. "I would really appreciate the assistance," he says with a bright smile. "Obviously, I could use a new perspective on the issue."
