If they weren't all fresh off a hell mission on a demon world, Devero probably would have found the cat's display fairly intimidating. But compared to the creatures they'd fought on Erda, it's... it's just a cat.

Which isn't to say he doesn't appreciate how big and sharp and close to him those claws are. Just because he's not scared of it doesn't mean he won't respect its ability to lacerate him. He nods at the cat but keeps his hands to himself, and tries not to feel too silly as he says, "Welcome."
