Adam laughed. "It does sound like a scam, doesn't it? He was very serious about it, though. People are also offering to teach others how to fight, if you're interested in that sort of thing."

He didn't consider himself a fighter, personally, but he planned on changing that perception, even if he hoped he would never have to use the skills he learned.

"Also, I hope you don't mind cooking and cleaning; we have monthly chores."
