oh it's not him, I've just been under the weather.

[The delayed reply doesn't bother him. Crowley has a degree of natural instinct to care for others, particularly children, which sets him apart from his demonic colleagues. That said, he isn't an overbearing parental figure, and finds casual interactions easier. He's millions of years old, but that doesn't mean he has more maturity or knowledge than the average twelve year old... and he knows it.]

It's a perfectly normal feeling. [He speaks casually, fingers playing with a stray game card sitting on a neighboring table top.] Of course there's not really anything that frightening aboard this train. Just loads of equally scared people who don't know how they got here... although, yeah, that alone is reasonably frightening.

[Crowley shrugs, his tendency to monologue getting him ahead of himself.]

I haven't seen you before. You must be fairly new.
