Tidus was kind of adorable. Gen didn't have enough information to know if he actually had a deeply hidden crush, or if it was the normal flailing of a straight man caught in the possibility of appearing infatuated with his best friend. More information was needed. But the fact the innuendo flew over his head meant to Gen, that either way, Tidus was pretty clueless.

So, for now, Gen dropped the teasing thread. More or less, anyway.

"Well, I can understand the urge to see someone else happy by getting them to socialize a bit more, so long as it's in their comfort zone," Gen agreed with a smile. "I don't mind dancing with a friend. I'll have to see if he's willing to dance with me in the future, in that case!"
