It's still peculiar in ways, being a guy babbling speak about supplies - but if there was anything handy on a mission (and what the train wasn't willing to provide without points being coughed up), it was equipment to go in with. And it was better to encourage them whenever possible, than to think about people going without.
So, he'd made the offer readily, and whatever weird awkwardness that hung on didn't match his easy-going stride to the meeting place, peeking through the glass doors before spotting the one for this meeting, opening it up, the scent of the tea catching his nose, but it's who's in there that takes his attention better, a nod to whoever's already inside.
"Sup! How's it hanging? Didn't wait too long, did you?"

Yondu had decided to help out in his own way. Sure, there was already a 3D printer, but he'd ordered one he knew was capable of recycling materials for use, as well as allow for some customization. Something that might help out those who make supplies.
"Not so bad," Yondu offers, lingering with his back propped against the wall rather than sitting properly. He's not wearing his train uniform, but back in his Ravager gear again.
"Nowhere else for me to be. I'm Yondu," he introduces himself curtly, bows his head a bit and taps his chest twice with his right fist in a Ravager salute, before he finally settles in with Wangji to take his cup of tea. It probably looks funny, he considers, that WangJi generally looks elegant and well put together and Yondu keeps himself about as well as a veteran of the meat grinder can.

Yondu's acquired some of the printer paper from the standard car to keep a few notes himself from what people end up saying. It's mostly who seems like they'd be good at diplomacy, who'd be good at mobilizing, that sorta thing, but he's got a whole section on possible defenses if need be.
At least this is still in his skillset. Back when he planned ship attacks, he always arranged for a ground team of his crew to move in first and investigate. You needed some solid people that could engage with citizens for that. Out of some 300 odd folks, he figures there are more on this little team that apply than were in his batch.

[After some hesitation, Ray does take a form to fill out, since he can see that it might be good for others to know what he can do. That said, he's also not completely open on it either, and noticeably stops and thinks before answering certain questions, particularly on the topic of his skills and what his home world is like. Some of that is due to lack of knowledge (he doesn't know where exactly Grace Field House was, besides that it was in a temperate part of the northern hemisphere), but some of that is due to reluctance to share some info, such as his exact situation. Eventually he finishes, and figuring that this is probably enough info, ends up finally approaching WangJi.]
This should be good, right?

Tidus isn't sure about that signal, gesture? Yondu gives, but in the moment he's rather left there standing, he follows it with a thumbs up, a hum and nod, before taking the opposite seating to the pair, rather relaxed in his posture.
Though, he does lean forward as the cup is drawn his way, a quick 'thanks' slipped in before they get closer to business.
"No prob. I know Minako had an arms band back when she was around - Blue Team's person for holding onto food and supplies," he explains to Yondu specifically, eyes going onto him. Tidus raises his wrist with a band on it. "It can hold anything, good for carrying extras of everything. You know if she left with it?"
That, he asks to WangJi, a note of curiosity. That was always the fear with supplies - that they'd disappear with the person when they left.

"Madoka's been pretty good about carryin' 'em too, if they go to her." Yondu comments, before looking over to WangJi to hear his answer on that other question.
"I also keep thinkin' that if we're gettin' missions with animals involved pretty often, we should find some folks willin' to teach those of us what didn't or couldn't be around 'em how to handle 'em. Eva said she'd help out with that, but I figured a couple of other folks acquainted with some different types could be useful too."
They do have a few city and space folk on their team.

[Yondu takes the survey to look at it, that perpetually scowling face creasing up in concentration (it's no ones fault, he just has resting bitch face).]
Looks fine to me. This is one of the least combative teams so ya got your wiggle room.
[People have limits on what they're willing to do, and blue is a low combat team. But it's not often that people list so few of their skills. They at least got something like, 'Can fill out a tax return' or 'can touch the tip of their tongue to their nose'. He's seen some shit on crew sign-ups.]

Cherry is purple team but she intends to be with them on some missions. He knows that if she shows up she's gonna have a little bit of a problem filling out her survey.
So he has one ready. And he warns WangJi beforehand. "Cherry's gonna need us to do this for her. She plans on helpin' us out on occasion." He's not worried in the slightest about him giving the girl a hard time, he don't seem like the type.
But he does worry a little about Cherry being self-conscious.

Cherry was pretty pleased to see the initiatives that the team leads had been taking to better organize their teams and people. The fact that Yondu had asked her if she wanted to basically be an honorary blue team member made her happy. As long as purple didn't specifically need her she'd be more than happy to lend a hand!
He knew she couldn't read so he had offered to help her with the paperwork and she was also really glad for that. What she hadn't expected was for it to be more than just Yondu and herself. Her almost skipping stopped and turned into a nervous step, her chipper smile faded into a confused expression as her ears slightly perked up when she saw WangJi. She was clearly uncertain as her tail twitched and she folded her hands together in front of her - perhaps the most polite way to close oneself off.
"Oh, what a surprise! I had thought maybe that my application may be to, um, lengthy and that maybe it would be only Mr. Yondu helping me. Because, um, maybe there were others that might have, um, questions..."

"It's alright, Cherryblossom, he ain't gonna judge," he clarifies. "But if he's a team lead he should probably rightfully know so he don't ask nothin' of ya that you ain't ready for."
He then looks over to WangJi and speaks quietly enough that only Cherry and the other lead can really hear. "She cain't read. She's real good with instructions an' wants to help people a whole lot."
He taps the paper. He'll help write down stuff for her.

"Yeah," Tidus says in agreement to WangJi's last remark. "I can't complain; better Madoka and Romeo and A-Qing have to deal with that than too much fighting. ...Taiki though, from Red Team," he goes on after a beat, "he'll be good for those missions, I think. He's not big about being around battles, but he was with us on the Irivar mission. You remember when we had to help out the animals then? But, we still had the trouble with the fire sprites."
He mainly spoke to WangJi there again, but he looks to Yondu after.
"Madoka took one of the arms from the general supplies - we've got a bunch of stuff that anyone from any team can take. But if you guys wanna get ideas about what to build up for yourself so you have more on hand, I can let you know the kind of healing supplies and support equipment we've got. I've brought some along with me."

[The fact that Ray is twelve and listed so little is possibly also weird; people that age should probably be able to come up with a bit more.
It notably also fails to explain things like where Ray’s neck tattoo came from, but that’s due to him not wanting to talk about it.
More importantly, he does have a question.]
So, what does blue team do on missions? [He’d like to know beforehand.]

"Pretty sure if I got the shit for it I could get Vexen to make us some stuff, too. I can check out what we got an' then we hit him up?"
He asks WangJi mostly. "Though I reckon we might get some new folks comin' in come platform."
He didn't want to cost the other teams supplies they might need in heavy combat areas. But he also didn't want to leave them hanging when they might have civilians they need to take care of, or heaven help 'em one of the kids get hurt. But their team size is pretty small.
"How much do Purple an' Red usually need?"

"Uhh, well, I know Purple's pretty covered for supplies, for healing. I can't give you hard numbers, but the supplies me, Light, and Roland take care of, you two don't have to worry about taking from them. People don't stop to grab as many potions for themselves as we'd like before a mission."
So, there they were, sitting there. But with the questioning on healing now on the table, there was something else to put there - in a careful moment. Tidus puts his left hand by the empty space of the seat beside him, and a buckler-light circular disk appears; to Yondu, it might be familiar to the device Madoka used back on Erda.
Tidus sets it on the table, minding their cups of tea.
"This is a manadrive. If you're worried about healing, this is good for wounds and anything like poisons - whatever gets in the system. Haven't tested that out myself, but I know the spell it's copying. Plus, it recharges after a while."
He then puts his hand aside again, looking at WangJi as a bag appears in it. "You said something about a...qiakun bag?"

Sometimes ya gotta rally people, too. Evac, things like that.
If you do gotta do fightin' an' don't think you can manage, you can fall behind me or WangJi or Sanzo. Sometimes we get folks from other teams droppin' in to help out.
[At this point Yondu's getting used to small children being around. He resents it, but there's fuck all he can do about it. He ranges between talking to 'em like adults and switching back to remembering they're just kids. Comes from having to force Peter to grow up too soon, but also wishing he didn't have to.]

I think I can do some of that. Dealing with locals, not fighting. [At least, he can try. He doesn't really want to not do anything to help, even if he doesn't trust this place at the moment.]
People from other teams? So we can go with another team?
[That's interesting to know, at least, that they aren't forced to stick with their own team.]
