"Yeah. He's one of Orange's leaders, and someone I worked closely with. He disappeared longer than most people do, for over a month, yet never got off...it was a surprise to see him this morning."

Kaiba allows the brief comfort and almost smiles, before he gets back to business.

"Think about those void messages we sent recently. The train told us we could send a connection to anyone we knew through emotion...ha, I actually tested it with someone else who's still here. It gave me a terrible headache later, but we know it worked, at least at close range."

He idly taps his locket as he thinks.

"If travel is powered by emotion...one, I'm bad at it, but two, it might work."
