Ple Two has seen repurposed asteroids - her faction in the war she participated in was based out of a large asteroid that had largely been mined out, and repurposed as both a living space and a fortress. This is... of course, when you have more than a single solar system at your disposal, you would find exceptional things like a giant skull asteroid. It's perfectly reasonable that the infinite vastness would contain such things.

Still, she's a bit wide-eyed at the incredible size. On the other hand, it's clearly not quite so civilized as any asteroids back home - a place to find mercenaries, for black markets, and other seedy deals.
