He actually considers it lucky that he didn't end up with it. He suspected he wouldn't, but hadn't checked for it on purpose before leaving. He knew how Quill could be.

"Five of 'em are out there supposedly. Dangerous as all hell. Never seen one before that whole mess. Guess I'm lucky that I'll never be seein' one again."

He shudders and shakes his head.
