It felt odd waking up in a luggage case again. After what happened not all that long ago. But he knew that wasn't the case this time. But it did mean one thing? He was alone regardless and he didn't like that one bit. Making his way out of the luggage carriage he started to make his way back to his room. Along the way he could help but notice the lack of people. Maybe it meant they were on a mission which mean he could have been out for a while.

Oh well, the focus now was for him to find the thing he was looking for and upon finally entering the room he found it. His plush Kuriboh, a sort of comfort for him. Picking it up he gave a soft smile.

"Let's go see what we can do while everyone else is away, hm?"

Spa Carriage
It was a carriage Yugi never really used much because of how often others would use it, but with the number of people still on board now was a good time as any to at least give it a try. So with a towel around his waist he finally stepped foot into the pool, sitting down and leaning back. Thw warmth was nice and he could see why it was popular at least. At least he could relax.

Post Mission, Game Carriage - Closed to Kaiba
Yugi had decided once he had done everything he wanted to was to play the games. The thing he tended to do the most over all. But he wasn't going to be alone. Since Kaiba wasn't around but his giant Blue Eyes Plushie was. So along with his own Kuriboh, he had carted around a rather large Blue Eyes White Dragon Plush. It had been a challenge to cart two plushies, but he managed and soon reached the carriage.

Bunkering down Yugi soon started playing a few games, his focus clearly on the game and his body at least relaxing for the most part. More relaxed than he had been since he got back. Maybe the plushies helped a bit? A nice reminder of someone who will come back once the mission was over.

After what seemed like a good number of hours Yugi had soon found himself falling fast asleep in the beanchairs, his head resting gently on the Blue Eyes. and the Kuriboh sitting on his lap with the controller on top of it. He for the first time in a while seemed at least peaceful.

Post Mission, Kitchin
Now that he knew the others were finally back, he figured he could do his part at least to welcome anyone back. So his usual cheerful demeaner was back, and he was happily in the ktichin carriage making meals for those who wat or need it. Not that it was Ornages turn to actually cook. He just honestly want to do his part.

"Hey, you look like you could use a good meal."

It's been a long week. Kaiba's so exhausted that he doesn't check the roster for changes upon returning to his room. But he does notice that both plushes are gone.

What the....? Now in a thoroughly sour mood, he spins on his heel and storms out. He will hunt that dragon and that Kuriboh down. Without asking for help, because he's too old to be so attached to stuffed toys.

His silent, fuming search leads him to the game room. Someone had left a video game out. Again. Kaiba let out a long-suffering sigh and bent to take the controller back, jolting to a stop when his nose brushed a familiar head of hair.

Yugi.

A wave of powerful relief brings him to his knees, and he stretches his long arms to engulf both Yugi and the plush toys in a hug.

No words are needed, not that he can voice them over the lump in his throat. Yugi is home. Safe. It's all that Seto wanted and had steeled himself against wishing for.

Maybe things aren't always so bad.

Yugi hadn't really realized what was going on around him, at least until he felt slight movement and an embrace. Without a clue or understanding as to what was going on, he slowly opened his eyes and it finally dawns on him just who would actually want to react in such a way.

Because who else would really?

"...I guess your back from the mission?" Were the first words out of his mouth. The answer seemed obvious of course he was back but he was still a little sleepy. Once he woke up a little more he seemed to smile slightly.

"Welcome back."

"Yeah. Think we might've run into one of the malevolent forces behind all this, if briefly."

Kaiba sounds tired, but the smile is still there. He brushes a kiss over Yugi's forehead and wiggles onto the beanbag, curling up beside him. It's a tight fit with these large plushes, but he'll manage.

"I missed you. But...I think you were still there with me, in a way. I was lost in a labyrinth, and an illusion that took the form of a Kuriboh kept following me and blocking attacks."

"Malevolent forces?" So the mission seemed like a pretty big one that he missed. He knew there was always a next time, but considering this was now the second mission he's missed out on through things out of his control he found himself feeling pretty bad about it.

But he wasn't planning on saying anything about it. Instead, the focus was solely on the other. Mostly because he was soon distracted by the mention of Kuribohs. "So to you the Kuribohs were like me being there... I mean if I was on the mission that would sound like something I would do." Which considering he has really no way to defend himself was not exactly a good thing.

"I am sorry that I wasn't actually there though."

"It dug into our psyches and used echoes from our pasts to try to hurt us," he explained, squeezing Yugi a little tighter. "But I've faced that enough times by now. I'm fine."

Better than fine now. He's overwhelmed with relief, seizing the moment and cuddling up while he can.

"I didn't think you were coming back. I'm so happy to see you. And there's actually something else you missed that I wanted to ask you about....did you see the new cars?"

"You sure?" Because even if one faces something enough times, he knew it didn't mean one could just be okay. Experience helps with that one. Sure hew's been in tough situations and seems okay, but he knows that it still affects him.

At the mention of the new cars he actually had to pause to think about it for a moment before leaning on the other, even if there may or may not be a plushie inbetween them. Blue Eyes always finds a way.

"It's the new Sleeper Carriages right? I will take it that the Double won over the lab?" He felt a little happy, but he also knew a lot of people wanted that lab, so he felt a tiny bit bad too.

"I had help. It was rough, seeing the man who was allegedly a father again...but I've got a dreamcatcher. And you. Glad I found you, or there might've been trouble tonight."

Seto's kidding, don't worry. He pets his Blue Eyes plush, then extends a hand to search for Yugi's.

"Mmm. There's a place on the ICP to apply. I think they're single-bed. Would that...ah, would you be interested?"

He's never felt so awkward over the course of this relationship. It's a big ask, and there's a little dusting of red on his nose.

"Might've been trouble?" He asked curiously, almost tilting his head to an extent, but that soon passed at the talk about the rooms.

That was at least something good to talk about and he was okay with that. After all this had been the carriage he had voted for, so he was honestly happy to talk about it.

"Are you asking me to share a bed?" For once Yugi seemed the more confident one, being able to tease at such a time with a smile. "I would be happy to. It was actually part of the reason I voted for it." And that confidence was soon gone as he looked away. He had his reasons.

Seto's breath catches. Yugi really wants to be that close to him? He leans over, gently tugging on Yugi's hand.

"Just that you had my dreamcatcher...but I don't think I'll need it tonight after all."

He lifts his hand to turn Yugi's face back toward him, darting forward for a brief kiss.

"Yes. Of course I want that. Come on, let's go apply."

"I didn't know when you'd be back so..." He had moved his head briefly, a slight tinge of red on his face. Honestly, the reason he took it was that it was a comfort while he hadn't been around. Made him feel at ease when he hadn't been.

"Sorry." Though within the moment that thought went quickly with the brief kiss. At least he wasn't mad at him for him, he figured he understood maybe. But it was a good idea to focus on other things, right?

"How does one apply exactly? But okay~"

"This way. We go to the ICP at one end of that car and enter our names."

Seto reaches down to take Yugi's hand, intent on holding it the whole way over. He's overwhelmed with relief to have him back. So his next words are gentle.

"Don't apologize. While you were gone, I realized...I'd been so hyper-focused on work, I wasn't appreciating you enough. This is my second chance, and I intend to give you everything I've got."

He nodded slightly. That seemed pretty easy enough to do if he was being perfectly honest.

Happily holding his hand while they walked he listened to the others words. He understood that he didn't need to say sorry and the fact is Yugi had gone elsewhere for that time as he still felt bad about it.

But he soon stopped for a moment. "I don't think you weren't appreciating me enough, honestly. Not sure why you would think that."
