Even though Alice might not understand the clothing issue very much on a personal level, struggling with her identity after changes is something she's been through. It's not too hard to shift the perspective a little bit and figure that someone might freak out over different clothes and hair, rather than just being a different size than usually.

So she doesn't question that. Instead Alice nods.
