"You got it!" Cheerfully, Manabu offers a thumbs-up before disappearing back down to the kitchen. It doesn't take very long at all for the place to start filling up with a pleasant, breakfasty aroma that long precedes him returning some minutes later with a hot plate that gets set down on before Peter.

"Eggs are pretty easy," he says, setting a fork down. "My mom used to say it was all in the fixings that determine a good breakfast dish. She owns a noodle shop back home, but she's amazing at any kind of food, in my opinion."
