It took a couple minutes longer, but Tony was able to hold out. Setting Peter on the bottom bunk, underneath an empty one, he is careful not to jar the boy too much.
"It's okay Peter. Just rest," he says between clenched teeth. The tone and the gentle gesture didn't match, but that didn't have anything to do with the kid. He brushes a bit of Peter's bangs back before straightening. He puts the empty garbage bag next to where the young man was laying down. With a sigh, he shook his head and looks to Manabu. He holds out a hand.
"Thank you, Manabu. I appreciate your help. Peter does too, but he's not going to talk again till he's sure he isn't going to throw up. Right?" Okay, that was shot back at the kid.
