The only reason Xue Yang even bothers with the platform is to jut have an excuse to get off the train. He can only handle being locked up for so long before he absolutely has to get out and wander around. It is probably a good thing that the train stops as often as it does because otherwise there is no telling what could happen if Xue Yang got really bored.

So when he smells food on the platform he starts towards it. Mostly because he isn't used to anyone having foot when they bring in the new arrivals. When he sees Wei Wuxian is the one with the food it does give him pause. He had to endure a small taste of that awful concoction he made in Yi City even though he didn't actually have to. But this does smell significantly better then that did.

He walks up with curiosity. "And how spicy can I expect this to taste?"
