Esteban has Learned His Lesson, on the very first day that he has arrived on the train. The poi are now never far from his side, after he's had to explain to no less than five people in under an hour what he was talking about. And now, the rope dart.

At least this one isn't too complicated.

"It's a rope 'bout--" he pauses here, trying to think of whether the other might understand the same measuring units, before tossing that out the window. "-- twice as tall 's I am, attached to the wrist--" here, he taps the inside of his left wrist twice, before going on. "-- an' you control it with yer main hand."

"Think it used t' be a weapon, so it's called a dart, but mine's just sand so it's pretty harmless. Ish." He'd received enough bruises from it to know, after all; most of his tools were potential weapons; but not ones he ever considered effective on any measure.

"Momentum an' cradles makes for a fun show." He really should take the suggestion and make a show for the train at some point, but it would feel so shallow without fire. He wonders if there's any chance he can try to make a show, potentially in the rock garden, without causing any major panic; but then he'd need so much materials that he just doesn't have.
