Yondu is so strong...to carry on like that, even with a broken family. He has a brief flicker of wondering why the man's son doesn't talk to him, but...no, he knows Yondu well enough to know he isn't a Gozaburo type. Absolutely not.

So he nods and reaches for the locket once more, opening it. There are two pictures: the first is a relatively new one with Seto and Yugi wearing silly neon jumpsuits, a drink in Seto's hand. They're apparently at some sort of party.

The second is faded, of a small boy with wild and messy black hair and a wide smile. He doesn't look all that much like Seto, but. Details.

"Mokuba's a really strong kid---it's an old picture, he'd be 16 by now. He's wild, he plays tricks, and he doesn't take crap from anyone. I fought to let him have a childhood for as long as I could...but I left the dimension to chase after my first love, and the train tethered me before I could make it back. He probably thinks I killed myself on the trip."

Guilt and regret flicker on his face. "I'd give anything to fix things with him, but I don't know if I can. But. That's still not an excuse to give up. I have to do better, for the relationships I can fix now."

Right? It hurts, of course it does, but there are still people here he loves. As Yondu says, he'll keep making more.
