"Oooohkay." He exhales as he drags out the word, putting his hands flat on the table. Prepping himself for what's to come next: the story of everything, condensed.

"Alright. So this train-" he swirls a forefinger upwards. "--moves outside of planets. It can go anywhere in any reality - it can even go to another reality where you are your brother exist, except something's different." He nods. "You're gonna see a few people who look the same, and that's why. Everyone here - no one's from the same world. Even if they know a version of them."

Which is saying something about Yota's brother, if he had been here, but Tidus only takes a tiny pause before he goes on.

"The train was some kinda transport for people who'd go out and do missions - help places, worlds, people. But then this thing happened to its last crew; the world they all came from got wiped out by something you'll hear about sometimes, these shapes, and the crew did something or other that made them disappear. Vanish."

Hands come out in a very 'poof, gone' gesture.

"The same time, everyone forgot those places existed. Enrara - that's one of the planets. No one knew about the Voidtrecker Express and there's no records about them. But, it still exists." Again he gestures to the train, this time out to the aisle. "It's getting recruits still, 'cept, they all come from people who don't know anything about the void, or none of it. Us - and we can't leave unless we find a way to safely break the thing that's connecting us to the train."

He stops here, hands coming back onto the table. A sympathetic expression drawing across his brow, the thin smile.

"Make sense?"

As much sense as it's going to make?
