Idia can take the bad, he's used to that. However he's also used to being able to hide away from it all and isolate himself. He's tried his best to do so on the train, or at least distract himself from others being around by keeping busy. All the more reason he needed to get his headphones next, the sound cancelling in them were amazing, he could at least pretend he was alone while he couldn't hear others.

"I don't appreciate expectations put on me." It's delivered rather flatly, no real emotion behind it. He doesn't want people relying on him, it was strange how much everyone was doing that to each other here. You looked out for yourself, that was it, even if doing so required you to play nice more than you would want to. Or struggle to do so, in his case.
