Apparently that's the main question that sticks with Madoka after listening to the rest of what Kiyoiri is saying - like she isn't questioning the rest of it.

Maybe it's since Kiyoiri is so good at sounding confident about this. Something about the way she's speaking makes her seem so much older to Madoka, despite the fact that the two of them basically seem to be about the same age..
