There's absolutely no way Tidus is serious about any of that.

Even if Inigo can be oblivious sometimes - sometimes! - this definitely isn't one of those times. It's all way too obvious for him to consider taking this seriously even for a single second. Tidus would never be caught dead doing auditing.. or even if he was doing it, he'd try to make it look like something else somehow.

And while it would be so easy to just go after the other right away, Inigo doesn't. Because he's pretty sure that's what Tidus expects him to do. Like Tidus is some sort of tanned Adonis, thinking that Inigo is so thirsty for him that he can't even wait a few moments! P-Pah, can't let that guy's ego get too big!

So Inigo doesn't get up right away. Instead he's just helping himself to the food that's left. Yes, that's right, Tidus, he will just let you keep walking! And he'll keep eating! Look at him, a cool guy, totally unaffected by the idea of a jock waiting for him.

And if Tidus does, in fact, go back to their room already, he'll find that Inigo doesn't immediately follow him. Not for a few minutes.. then not for half an hour..
