This is what makes Inigo pause. Even Tidus's reaction here is unexpected, and Inigo momentarily finds himself struggling with it. Halfway desperate to get some cuddles in while Tidus's half-sleepy mind doesn't seem to know, and halfway very much aware of the shoes he's still wearing, since he just went for the flop right away.

Which means that Inigo does get off Tidus, but rather than getting under the blankets, he just sits up, his cheeks starting to turn pink.

And even as he turns to quickly try to take off his shoes, bending over to do so, he's stammering: "W-Wait, that's what you want?"

Cool attitude from a while ago? The idea of waiting to make Tidus suffer?
