There was an almost-collision at the door when the half-elf arrived just as Tidus was leaving, a brief nod, before he snuck into the room as discreetly as possible. Spices and sugary scents quickly wafted over the room though, and Esteban started cutting up a pie that could have looked in better form and ladling it onto plates to serve up, keeping an open ear for what was being discussed.
Even though he's not catching on At All about what the other guy is saying-- something about numbers and earth-bites, he guesses. The other faces around the table are at least somewhat familiar, having expected Kaiba since he'd called him up here, and he'd met Elidibus at least the once. He stays quiet for now, passing the plates down-- even if it sits in front of them untouched.

"Or maybe it's just sentient?" He has absolutely not followed up until that point, but it seems wrong to him talking about the train as something rather than someone. What little he remembers; impressions of an attention, of a being, too busy to do more than nudge him to the side-- it had been irritating. But also something that he understood, in some way? Or had it just transmitted information in a way Esteban himself could understand? It was difficult to tell.
