Death Becomes Her... or She Becomes Death... one of the two....

When: Day after the evacuation
What: Actions have consequences.
Warnings: CW: Death. Pain.
Najaran's Cards had gathered around her defensively as she screamed, as the pain started. Instinctively she pulled them back. They sought to protect her, she called them back into their Cards to protect them. There was no thought behind it. There was no time for thought and pain prevented it anyway. Najaran screamed. Even Goligan did, which was somehow so much worse. And then... Nothing.
Darkness. She tried to roll back over, half sure this had all been some horrible nightmare. But her shoulders and knees smacked the sides of.. something. She tried to open her eyes. Realized they were already open.
Something was wrong. Something was very wrong....
"G...Goligan?" she asked in a small voice.
"Here..." he replied, his own voice weak. Hoarse.
She wasn't alone. Wherever here was, she wasn't alone. She reached back carefully, smacking her arm several more times, but she found her Cards. Depleted. Exhausted. Spent. But here. With her. Wherever here was.
Had she been taken prisoner again? Were these things Black Cepters? Were they about to try to feed her to the Lord of Flies again? She didn't want to be eaten!
When trapped, when in doubt, Najaran fell back on one general method for escape. She began to try to eat her way out. She applied her teeth to the nearest surface. Depsite it being close, it wasn't easy. But she tried. Better to eat her way through whatever this was than to be eaten!
All the pain, all the fear, all the reaction would have to wait. She had to escape. And save whatever was left of the people she had been fighting along side. She... had to. HAD TO.
