His eyes widen the moment the realisation hits him, and he momentarily stops eating just to sputter: "W-Wait, what are you saying? You don't have to buy me anything, Esteban!"
That sure was belated, but at least Inigo caught on.. Apparently that's why his answer earlier came so easily. He didn't realise there was anything to protest just yet.
