Who: Emet-Selch and open!

1. GARDENS.

Emet-Selch has a particular fondness for the garden, with all the work that he has put into it recently. That does not mean he is going to enjoy himself in the middle of it, however, especially given who he is.

The last month has not been particularly kind to him and it shows in the way he rests, one leg up, wrist leaning on his knee and a sour expression to colour the rest of him. He does not look like a man who is pleased to be on the train as much as he has been, and he seems to be spending most of his time staring off into the distance.

For being right by the pond there is no interaction, no enjoyment of the plants and flowers: he just stares, face as stony as the rest of the garden, and he only glances up if someone comes nearby.

2. LIBRARIES.

The place where Emet-Selch has spent the most of his time is clear-cut and obvious to those that know him - the theatre and the library. His fondness of the arts was a well known thing for the ilk of his world, but that does not mean he is a particularly kind or generous library guest, especially when it comes to sharing.

There are moments where almost every waking hour of the month he can be found sitting in the corner, a book open and his fingers splayed along its back, eyes skimming and moving along the pages as if he reads faster than people breathe, which is a novel thing in itself.

He's mostly reading the educational books, spending a few hours on the flora and fauna documentation, but there are rare times where he might be found flicking through a fiction book of all genres, head tilted and chin resting on his fingers.

He doesn't look bored, necessarily, but it's clear that no matter what he is reading there is something on his mind.
