But she nodded as if she understood--it at least made sense to Sarai that the man had undergone some sort of transformation, and that sort of thing wasn't completely unheard of on Hydaelyn--some voidsent could possess smallfolk and turn them into monsters, after all.

She nodded sympathetically--her shirt was purple, but she still missed her armor. The last time she'd worn anything like that was back on the goblin planet, and that clothing had been repossessed once they had returned. Frustrating, to say the least...
