And he definitely recognized that reaction. Normally Conan didn't care whether adults believed him or not. If he got dismissed as a kid playing games he'd just work around it and manipulate the adults into finding the right conclusion.

But that could be a problem here. With the experiences so far Conan suspected that he would need to use his skills in the public eye sooner or latter.
