democratically: (grace)

"And most would say that trouble found them, not the opposite." As Padmé would fall under that category. It found her, often, although she was honest enough to know that her stance on certain topics and her inability to be bought often put her at odds with some of the other Senators. Thankfully she had found like-minded individuals within the Republic, those she trusted and who believes in many of the same points that she did.

For her, mechanical pieces are as common as anythings else. Not that she knows too many personally who had lost any limbs, but it is common enough in the Republic that it hasn't drawn more than a customary look as he shifts it away. She chuckles in turn, before smiling. "Oh, I certainly can, although you've only yourself to blame if I blather on about it."

Her love for her planet is quite clear. "Hmm. It's one of the Mid Rim planets, home to the native Gungans who make their cities beneath the surface of the swamps and to humans who populate the surface, along with any transient population that comes and goes, although we're not exactly a hub of activity like Coruscant. It's a temperate planet, lush and rich in rolling grasslands, but also spotted with clear lakes and waterfalls. It's well known for its arts, whether music, paintings, sculptures, plays and the like, and the unique composition of it's outer core, being plasma."
