The situation seems to just keep escalating and Peter really needs everything to calm down. The sensory overload is probably making things feel a lot worse than they actually are but it really isn't helping that he keeps coughing. Is he actually short on air or does it just feel like that because of the panic attack?
Peter coughs harshly into his arm as he's pushed in Happy's direction, if he didn't feel like he was on fire he might have stopped to ask what the medical car would do but he kinda has to agree that something needs to be done.
